Pete Moon

From the start Bracknell commanded  possession of the ball and played a strong game. Tring were not going down lightly and with many fast breaks caused problems for Bracknell who were saved by their solid defence.  The breakthrough came with a pass across the goal from Scott Elliot which was finished off gracefully by Pete Moon for a 1-0 lead.
In the 2nd half both teams started strongly but after a foul conceded  by the opposition in the D resulted in a penalty flick - Scott Elliot stepped up to put away to secure a 2-0 victory for Bracknell.

After the long trek to Bicester, Bracknell started strongly and were in command of the whole of the pitch.  The score was opened by Captain Alex Light after a powerful shot taken by a rebound off the keeper at a short corner.  This was  followed shortly by Ian Freeman, sliding the ball just right of the keeper for a second goal.  Bracknell had a few more chances that were not put away,  but Bicester controlling their frustration, were fighting back hard.  In a further passage of great play Scott Elliot managed to score Bracknells 3rd.  In the 2nd half Bracknell were feeling the heat but after conceding a goal and picking up an injury to Barney Longden, Bracknell raised their game creating chances that were just not finished.

Scorers

From the start it was a tough game with good ball posession from both teams making it end to end stuff. Bracknell's defence fought off some strong attacks but opportunities were missed by both sides. Eventually Wycombe went 1   0 up.  A second goal was stopped by Michael Igoe - perfectly saving a penalty flick. Other highlights were a great arial from Scott Elliot received by Paul Broome. A pass across the D from Alex Light to Allen Strat was laid off for a powerful shot and numerous short corners were all denied all resulting in a disappointing 0-1 loss.

Lawrence Lewis

After an eventful journey to local Reading to play Phoenix and Ranelagh  Bracknell started strongly with an early goal from Adrian Plant (who  then went on to hit the post twice).   Some great play throughout the team helped Ashley Holden put away two great goals.
In the heat and  with no extra players to call on, the team struggled but fought hard creating a fourth goal through Lawrence Lewis but the game ended with a loss of 5-4.
